Alexander’s age at first session: 6 yrs. 9 mos

Reason:
Referred for cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessment. Had difficulty maintaining attention and completing classroom tasks, and his high level of motor activity.
Evaluation Summary:
Alexander is a boy with generally average to very superior cognitive and academic skills. He does however present with difficulties regulating his motor activities, with motivation to complete tasks, and social skills.
(played alone, drawing during recess, flapping hands, cannot sit still to finish the test, etc)
Services
Special Education 11/19/2009 – 1/17/2010. 470 minutes per week.
The first time learned “Asperger’s Syndrome”
Special education 1/18/2010 – 11/19/2010. 235 minutes per week.
